Measurements

Review saved spatial distances from your digital twins.

Measurements lists saved Treedis measurements across the workspace’s digital spaces. Each record keeps the measured distance, segments, view mode and linked locations. Sensor readings belong to Sensors and alerts.

Workspace access. Pages and actions depend on your role and the modules enabled for your workspace. This guide describes CW release/1.0.1; your administrator can confirm the options available to your team.

Get started

Open Measurements to search saved distances, filter by location, change display units and reopen a measurement in the editor. Use New measurement to choose a space and enter the spatial editor.

Watch the walkthrough

Follow the actions in Connected Workers, then use the chapter sections in the progress bar to revisit a step. English subtitles are on by default; choose Hebrew in the captions settings.

The user flow

Measurements user flow

  1. Choose the intended digital space.
  2. Create and save a Treedis measurement in the editor.
  3. Give the distance a useful name.
  4. Link the relevant location.
  5. Review length and display units.
  6. Reopen the measurement in its spatial context.

How the information moves

Stage Responsibility
1 Saved spatial measurement
2 Workspace and space access
3 Endpoints, segments and length
4 Linked locations
5 Workspace measurement table
6 Reopen in spatial editor

The diagram describes the logical path through the application. Saved records retain their workspace and relationships. Supported background processing and external synchronization can complete after the initial save.

Tips for better data and TAI context

  • Name the physical distance you measured.
  • Check the selected space, measurement endpoints and units.
  • Link the relevant location and verify critical clearances on site.

Consistent equipment codes, precise location links and readable approved files help TAI retrieve the intended context. A saved record does not mean every attached file has finished indexing. See background indexing for the preparation process.

Check the result

Open the saved record or configuration again. Check its location, equipment links, status and visibility for the intended role. If information is missing, check scope and permissions before adding a duplicate.
