Sensors and alerts

Connect readings to equipment and review conditions that need attention.

Sensors provide observations over time. Alert rules flag configured conditions; a triggered alert is evidence to review, rather than proof of a particular root cause.

Workspace access. Pages and actions depend on your role and the modules enabled for your workspace. This guide describes CW release/1.0.1; your administrator can confirm the options available to your team.

Get started

Open Sensors and alerts. Check the sensor source, unit and equipment binding. Review the rule and recent history for an alert before deciding whether to create work or use an enabled Advisor workflow.

Watch the walkthrough

Follow the actions in Connected Workers, then use the chapter sections in the progress bar to revisit a step. English subtitles are on by default; choose Hebrew in the captions settings.

The user flow

Sensors and alerts user flow

  1. Configure the supported source.
  2. Bind the sensor to its asset.
  3. Check readings and units.
  4. Set supported alert rules.
  5. Review triggered alerts.
  6. Decide and track the response.

How the information moves

Stage Responsibility
1 Sensor source
2 Ingestion and asset binding
3 Timestamped readings
4 Configured rule evaluation
5 Alert and evidence
6 Human review or enabled Advisor

The diagram describes the logical path through the application. Saved records retain their workspace and relationships. Supported background processing and external synchronization can complete after the initial save.

Tips for better data and TAI context

  • Name sensors with equipment code and measured quantity.
  • Verify units, timestamps and thresholds.
  • Treat missing or stale readings as uncertainty.

Consistent equipment codes, precise location links and readable approved files help TAI retrieve the intended context. A saved record does not mean every attached file has finished indexing. See background indexing for the preparation process.

Check the result

Open the saved record or configuration again. Check its location, equipment links, status and visibility for the intended role. If information is missing, check scope and permissions before adding a duplicate.
